AAC Unveils Candidates in Oyo State

Since the African Action Congress (AAC) was created in 2018, it has gone to great lengths to cement its reputation as a party that hears and acts in the best interests of the party. Always looking for proactive ways to serve members of the public.

AAC officially unveiled all the candidates that would be contesting in the 2023 elections at Yinbol College, Orogun Ibadan Oyo State, on the 22nd of October, 2022.

The candidates present at the august occasion includes the Gubernatorial Candidate of the Party, Champion Mojeed Kehinde Okedara, the Deputy Governorship Candidate, Mrs Idowu Oladimeji Ayomide among other State House of Assembly and National Assembly Candidates.

Okedara Ridwan Aderogba (O.R.A) who was a member of the unveiling committee and also the candidate running for Member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Atiba constituency was highly delighted at the outcome of the event. Speaking with reporters at the occasion, he had this to say, “I am both humbled and pleased to be a part of this auspicious event. At this point, everyone in the country knows that things aren’t how they ought to be; things aren’t just working. And there’s a reason for this: it’s because, up until now, we’ve been doing the same things the same way and expecting different results. My party – the people’s party, African Action Congress 'AAC' , is different. We realize that the rot that the country is in at the moment can be traced back to the actions of leaders with outdated principles and selfish motives. As people who love this country dearly, we know that we can’t afford to let the status quo continue. African Action Congress 'AAC' was laid on the foundation that the youths can right the course of Nigeria and bring prosperity to this great nation and that’s why we’re at this unveiling ceremony today. We’re here to show the good people of Oyo State that all hope isn’t lost yet. Every candidate the party is fielding in the coming election is an individual of unimpeachable character willing to commit himself or herself to a greater Nigeria. We’re calling on the people of Oyo State to endorse and support our candidates to make our dreams of a better state and country possible. We cannot do it on our own, nor would we want to. But together, we can bring Oyo State back where it belongs: to the people.”
