BUKOY Hails Oyetola’s Infrastructure Development in Osun as he drums support for his re-election

As the July 16 Osun Governorship election approaches, a federal representative representing Irepodun/Olorunda/Osogbo/Orolu Constituency in the House of Representatives, Honourable Olubukola Oyewo popularly known as 'BUKOY' on Saturday hailed Governor Adegboyega Oyetola for his efforts in transforming Osun through numerous projects and curbing youth restiveness.


Honourable Oyewo, gave the commendation at the Fidau prayer for Late Alhaji Kilani Orisawale who until his demise was the Chairman Orolu local government APC Elders' Forum in Ifon-Osun.





According to him, Oyetola’s inclusive administration and passion for infrastructural development of the state have brought unity, peace, cohesiveness and reduced youth restiveness in the state.


He said that through a robust free and accessible healthcare delivery system in the state the governor had cared for the children, women and the aged.


“We are proud of the successes this administration recorded in the health sector, and the ongoing recruitment of OYES cadets as well as Oyetola’s giant strides in the infrastructure development.


"The state doesn’t need a governor who would railroad it into the bleak past of hanging on the brink of a collapsing economy.


“It is right and just for a man who has gallantly dragged us from the cliff edge to prosperity and is rebuilding our infrastructure to be commended and given more opportunity to continue what he is doing,” he asserted.


The Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Water Resources then call on "members of our great party not to rest until we had mobilised every members of the oppositions to our camp to support Governor Oyetola's reelection."


On his aspiration to contest the party's ticket to run again in 2023, he said that the people of Irepodun/Olorunda/Osogbo/Orolu federal constituency are looking forward for an accelerated development and a better representation that will attract more government attentions to the area, adding that his decision to contest for another term was motivated by a call from people of the Federal Constituency.


“Irepodun/Olorunda/Osogbo/Orolu needs better development, better representation, government attention. The people have spoken again, and I am only answering their calls.”


He, therefore, assured that come July 16, Governor Oyetola would be returned as governor of Osun State, adding that Oyetola and his deputy have done well and there was no need changing a winning team.


The State APC Chairman, Prince Gboyega Famodun, party stalwarts, leaders, members and supporters were all present at the programme.
