Nigerian Football is about to witness football being played in a whole different dimension, as the 2nd edition of the Nyesom Wike Preseason Tournament will begin in Port Harcourt .

The club has just confirmed a 30 man squad for Governor Wike Preseason Tournament scheduled for November 7,2020 in Port Harcourt.

The current Ebonyi state FA Cup champions squad will be leaving Abakaliki on a high , having achieved decent results in recent club friendlies, with notable victories coming in a 14-0 demolition of Royal Crown FC; 7-0 crushing of Adoration FC ; and 4-0 victory over Elite FC of Enugu.

Cynosure Football Club begin to cause problems for teams in the Nigeria National League and Nigeria Professional Football League because they are already on the path way to greatness going by their success and apparent achievements since it was formed.

A promising football club, formed in 2017 and sponsored by Prince Chidebere Nwaeze, has within its period of existence recorded modest achievements such as emerging as runners up in the 2017 Rivers State AITEO Cup ; runners up in the 2017 edition of the Eboyin State AITEO Cup; became the first football club in the history of Nigerian Football to represent two states in the AITEO/Federation Cup; emerged the best team in the 2017 South South - South East Preseason Tournament held in Nnewi and Garden City.

With its home ground at the Pa Ngele Oruta Stadium, Abakaliki. Cynosure FC boast of a home ground with the capacity of accommodating 5,000 spectators. It is evident that the foundation set for this club is strong enough for great success be built upon.

Aside from being fully participatory in Nigerian football; Cynosure FC is home ground for developing grassroot talents with dreams of playing outside the shores of the nation.

All hopes are high and adrenaline  pumping for the Governor Nyesom Wike Preseason Tournament because, success achieved in Port Harcourt will be a morale booster for the coaches and staff ahead of the football season in the country.
