In a press released by the Governor of Osun State, Gov. Oyetola, the curfew is now to run from 6 a.m to 8 p.m, the press goes thus;

"Following the review of the security situation in the State, we've decided to relax the 24-hour curfew declared last Saturday to avert breakdown of law and order. Effective from tomorrow, Thursday, October 29, the curfew will run from 8:00pm to 6:00am daily, until further notice.

This means members of the public can now go about their activities between 6:00 am and 8:00 pm daily. Security operatives will however be on ground to enforce the new curfew directive, as part of efforts to maintain law and order across the State.

I commend citizens and residents of Osun for their understanding and cooperation in the last few days. I urge you all to continue to be peaceful and law abiding. As a government, we will continue to make efforts to protect the lives and property of our people".
