AMLSN Releases a New Date for 56th Annual Scientific Conference/AGM

The National leadership of the Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria (AMLSN) has shifted the date for this year's Annual Scientific Conference and AGM.

The conference tagged 'Salt City 2020' which is initially scheduled to start from September 20, 2020 to September 21, 2020 was moved to November 11 which will end on November 17.

Nevertheless, it was learnt that, the venue remains same which is Ecumenical Centre, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, Nigeria. 

Reasons were not given for the shift in date but adekkatv belief it might not be unconnected with the ravaging Coronavirus pandemic in the country.

This year's National Conference has its theme: Misdiagnosis and Patient Safety in Nigeria Health System: The Medical Laboratory Priority.
