Obokun APC Stalwart, Dare Adarayaki Distributes Clothing Materials To Party Members

The Stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Obokun Local Government Area of Osun, Comrade Dare Adarayaki, yesterday (Sunday) distributed clothing materials to 250 members of the party in Ward 01 ahead of the Eid-El-Kabir celebration.

Speaking while presenting the items, Adarayaki said the gesture was to enable the beneficiaries celebrate the Eid-el-Kabir, and also cushion the hardship occasioned by measures put in place to check the spread of coronavirus.

“The intention is for every beneficiaries to  have a sense of belonging in the society during the Eid-el-kabir celebrations,” he said.

Adarayaki said that the 250 beneficiaries, men and women cut across the party in ward 01, and therefore stressed the need for the items to reach them.

He admonished people of the state, to abide by the guidelines of the state government on containing spread of COVID- 19.

He however advised them not to be overwhelmed with activities during the celebration and should avoid violating recommended NCDC practices on how to stay safe.

In her remarks on behalf of the  beneficiaries, Mrs Rachael Onapasa, Assistant, Women leader in the local government, commended Dare Adarayaki for extending Sallah gifts to the members of the party.

Present at the event are, APC Chairman, Obokun Local Government, Mr Oladimeji Olamijulo; Secretary, Obokun local government, Prince Albert Adeyemi, and many others.
