GOMBE ASSEMBLY DEPUTY SPEAKER IMPEACHED

The Deputy Speaker of Gombe State House of Assembly, Shaiubu Adamu Haruna, has been impeached.

21 members of the House removed Haruna during Tuesday’s plenary at the legislative chamber of the Assembly in Gombe, the state capital.

Nevertheless, the reason for his impeachment is yet to be known.

The lawmakers have equally elected Mr Sidi Buba who represents Kwami West State Constituency as the new deputy speaker.
