The National Examinations Council today (Tuesday) released the May/June 2019 Senior Secondary School Examination results.

Mr. Abubakar Gana, the NECO Acting Registrar, made the disclosure at the council’s headquarters in Minna, Niger State, adding that 71 per cent of candidates obtained credits in English Language and Mathematics.

It Should be noted that, more than one million candidates sat for the examination and had been clamouring for the release to enable them to begin admission for the 2019/2020 academic year which is going on presently.

It was also comfirmed by the Public Relations Officer of NECO, Mr. Azeez Sani.

"Neco releases the 2019 June/July SSCE results. Also, 71 per cent of the candidates obtained five credits in subjects including English and Mathematics," he stated.

Sani had noted that the marking of the answer scripts of the candidates took two weeks across the country and ended on Saturday, August 10.
