Eid Mubarak!
On behalf of NANS, I felicitate with Muslims both at home in Nigeria and across the world, on the occasion of this year's Eid-il-kabir.

I urge all Nigerian,Especially students, irrespective of religion, to use today as an opportunity to pray for greater glory for our nation.

It is truly significant that the Eid-il-Kabir will be celebrated  today. May all our prayers that are offered during this solemn day command the double mercies of the Almighty towards us all.
This is a time that we must look out for -- and be there for -- those around us that are in need. We must work to be our brothers' keepers by sharing our worldly goods with them.
This is a time we must pray for our leaders, especially President Muhammadu Buhari, Governor Seyi Makinde and all those saddled with the responsibilities of leadership at all levels across our country.

With prayers, I have no doubt that God will inspire and guide our nation to attain guaranteed peace; security for all; economic growth; political stability, and; social cohesion in our communities.

Therefore, as we commemorate today, I call on all our brothers and sisters, to be law-abiding and support the present administration in its bid to tackle our collective problems.
Again, I wish you all a peaceful, rewarding and blessed Eid-il-Kabir.
May Allah continue to accept our supplications.

Signed: Salawudeen Oyewale George (WALE-P)
