BREAKING: LAUTECH GETS DEPUTY VICE-CHANCELLOR

The Senate of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, this afternoon elected Professor Olaide Liasu of the department of Pure and Applied Biology as the new Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the Institution.

He polled 63 votes representing 52.07 percent of total votes cast to defeat his opponent, Professor Jelil Akinlade of the Animal Production and Health department who polled 58 votes(47.93%).

Meanwhile, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Michael Olufisayo Ologunde, has congratulated both Professors for believing in the system which he said was receiving fresh breath.

He urged all staff and students to cooperate with the new helmsman who he said was joining the task of rebuilding a new LAUTECH at the most auspicious time.
