BREAKING: READ HOW TRIBUNAL DECLARES PDP’s ADELEKE WINNER OF 2018 OSUN GOV ELECTION

The Osun State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Abuja has declared the Peoples Democratic Party and its candidate in the 2018 governorship election in the state, Ademola Adeleke as the winner.

It held that the All Progressives Congress and its candidate, Gboyega Oyetola, were not validly returned.

OSUN TRIBUNAL RULING UPDATE

Based on principles established by the Tribunal so far.

1. Established mutilations of CTC of EC8AS by INEC.
2. Wrong cancellation of elections in 7 Polling Units by Returning officer instead of the PU Presiding officer.


The Tribunal cancelled the result of 17 polling units thereby deducting 2029 from APC votes and 1246 votes from PDP votes = 783 votes in favour of Adeleke on the lead.
