FINALLY, EMBATTLED SEN. DINO MELAYE SURRENDERS

The embattled Nigerian lawmaker, senator Dino Melaye has supposedly gave up himself for an arrest to the police following seven days of a siege on his Abuja home.

Recalled that Adekka TV reported yesterday about the additional policemen deployed to his Abuja residence.

"The police have reinforced over 50 more officers to  Senator Dino Melaye’s Abuja home. This is in reaction to the Senate report yesterday (Now Wednesday) , that, legal procedures had been taken versus the police for laying siege to Sen.Dino Melaye’s residence since last week Friday ".

Melaye is presently standing trial in more than one suit. Sen. Dino has been alleged of illegal ownership of arms, sponsoring hoodlums in Kogi State and gun running.

In a sperate trial, Sen.Dino was alleged of a six-count charge, which are  bordering on attempted suicide, damage of police property and attempt to escape from custody.

Yesterday, Sen. Dino Melaye application to order the removal of police blockage on his residence was rejected by an Abuja high court.
