KANO STATE GOVERNOR, GANDUJE DESTROYED 30 TRUCK-LOAD OF BEER

The Kano State government Hisbah Board has confiscated and damaged nothing less than 30 trailer loads of beer.

Malam Adamu Yahaya, the board Public Relations Officer, revealed this in a statement made in Kano yesterday.

He reported that the cartons of beer were damaged on Monday evening after obstruction at Kalebawa on Danbata Road in Dawakin Tofa area.

The statement made by the public Relations Officer is giving below;

“The Kano State Law No. 4 of 2004 has banned the manufacture and use of intoxicants in the state".

“Furthermore, an order was given by a magistrates’ court for us to go ahead with the exercise".

Yahaya warned the people selling beer not to  go out of boundary and encourages the masses to be of good conduct.
