DRUG TEST: BOWEN UNIVERSITY STUDENTS STAGE PROTEST

A certain number of students, studying in Bowen University, Iwo, Osun State, staged objection against the guideline from the management that they must pass through a drug test. The management , nevertheless, still insists that the Students that were affected must be punished.

Videos of a conflagration, from the first floor in the boy’s hostel, from one of the rooms was spread out on Monday, with a hearsay that the Vice-Chancellor had suspended 200 students,which includes the Students who rejected to have the drug test.

Dr Kayode Ogunleye,the Registrar of Bowen University, in his statement reported that the videos that was released were manipulated.
