BREAKING: NIGERIA EX-PRESIDENT IS DEAD
The Nigeria ex-president Shehu Shagari dies at the age of 93 today.
He passed away at the National hospital,Abuja.His grandson, Bello Shagari confirmed the news on his Twitter handle.
"I regret announcing the death of my grandfather, H.E Alhaji Shehu Shagari, who died right now after brief illness at the National hospital, Abuja".
Shehu Shagari, was the first and only President of Nigeria's Second Republic, following the handover of power by General Olusegun Obasanjo military, Shehu Shagari subsequently served seven times in a ministerial or cabinet post as a federal minister and federal commissioner from 1958–1975. May His soul rest in peace.
