APC HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY CANDIDATE ABDUCTED IN NASARAWA

Mr David Ayele,the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Obi II state constituency in the 2019 general election has been abducted in Nasarawa State.

This was confirmed by the Police Command in Nasarawa State.

The Command's spokesperson,SP Kennedy Idirisu, narrated the news to reporters today in Lafia, that the politician was kidnapped by gunmen from his residence in Lafia which was not far from Tudun Kauri at about 8:00pm yesterday.

SP Kennedy Idirisu in his statement reported that the police took into action instantly after the report was made by tracking the suspects and the victim's car was  later seen along Obi-Awe road.

He further exaplained that the police is working to assure that Mr David Ayele was freed and also to save the State of kidnapping.

“We have deployed our men to comb the area where the victim`s car was found and we are also gathering intelligence that would lead to the rescue of the victim,” he reaported.

SP Kennedy Idriisu advised the general public to always give alert on any movement that is doubtful in their environs to security agencies for quick response.
