LATEST UPDATE ON BOKO HARAM: 156 INSURGENTS GIVE THERE ALLEGIANCE TO NIGERIA

There is no less than 156 Boko Haram members that feel sorrow for wrongdoing and gave up yesterday, pledge loyalty to the Nigerian government after going through the process of a De-radicalisation, Rehabilitation and Reintegration (DDR) programme,which was coded Operation Safe Corridor.

The former Boko Haram members who repent on Wednesday took the oath of allegiance before Justice Nehizena Idemudia Afolabi of the Federal High Court, Gombe at the DDR rehabilitation camp in Gombe.

The former Insurgents members withdrawn their instruments of attack and surrendered to the Nigerian Army, and were enlisted into the de-radicalisation programme of the federal government.
