FG ANNOUNCE TUESDAY PUBLIC HOLIDAY

The Federal Government has announced that next week Tuesday, 20th November 2018 is a public holiday to celebrate the Eid-El Maulud.

This was declared by the Minister of Interior, Lt Gen (rtd) Abdulrahman Dambazau, on Friday, in a statement signed by the permanent secretary, Dr. M.B Umar.

He urged the Muslim faithful to to form in line with the prophet’s teachings which centered on reverence and devotion to God, benevolence to others, ability to endure and calmness State of existing together peacefully among others.

Dambazau also informed Nigerians to stay firm on these manifestation of moral of excellence, with a view to overcoming the current national difficult task facing the country.

He emphasize that “the Federal Government remains committed to the unity of the country and as such, will put adequate structures on ground towards ensuring that the forthcoming general elections are credible, free and fair.”
