The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), today give a public notice on the registration for 2019/ 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) which will start in December.

Dr Fabian Benjamin,the man in charge of Media of JAMB, made the announcement today while addressing newsmen during the exercise of conduct for the promotion Examination of Nigerian Customs Service (NCS), at the board’s Computer Based Test (CBT) Centre in the Federal Capital Territory,Abuja.

According to him, no specific date has been fixed for the start of the Jamb registration yet but will surely be December.

Dr Benjamin, nevertheless, added that arrangements were going on so that as soon as possible,the date will be fix.He noted that the board was previously waiting for the announcement of the presidency on the decrease in the examinations fee, which was formally pronounced on Wednesday.

It was reported that the Federal Executive Council (FEC) on Wednesday gave the approval of the downward review of the examination registration fees from N5,000 to N3,500 which take effect from January 2019.

This was announced by the Minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu,after the meeting yesterday.
