BREAKING:ONDO STATE SPEAKER AND DEPUTY SPEAKER IMPEACHED

The Speaker of Ondo State House of assembly Bamidele Oloyelogun and the Deputy Speaker, Iroju Ogundeji were impeached this morning.

The change happened at the rowdy planery where Jumoke Akindele was temporarily picked as the acting Speaker before the emergence of the New Leadership.

From the statement made available from Hon. Fatai Olotu, the two house anchors were removed because of financial impropriety, incompetence and high handedness.

As a result of this, Hon. Olamide George,the lawmaker representing Akure North,has been sworn in as the new speaker of the House while Hon. Abimbola Fajolu,the lawmaker representing  Ile Oluji/Okeigbo Constituency has also been sworn in as the new deputy speaker.
