2019 ELECTION: INEC ASSURES NIGERIANS OF CREDIBLE POLLS

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has assured that there will be free,fair and a credible general elections in February 2019.

INEC boss, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, made this assurance in the  Anniversary Lecture and investiture when speaking at the 6th Hall of Fame in Lagos yesterday.

The INEC Chairman,Prof. Mahmood Yakubu said that, the commission know the importance of conducting a credible general elections in 2019,and the work is not a easy one, but that INEC is firm on its decision to leave no stone unturned to conduct a plausible elections.

He added that there could be no peace of mind, or political uphold and considerable economic and other enjoyments to citizens without a plausible and peaceful elections through a clear and the scope of electoral process.
