15 KILLED IN 31-VEHICLE STACK ON CHINESE HIGHWAY
A highway Stack involving not less than 31 cars killed 15 people in northwest China’s Gansu province, according to the officials, leaving dramatic scenes of contorted and burnt-out wreckage.
The stack happened on Saturday after a lost of control by a heavy truck and crashed into a line of vehicles waiting at a toll station on the Lanzhou-Haikou Expressway, as reported this morning.
The Officials said that another 44 people were injured in the stack at the toll station which is close to Lanzhou, capital of Gansu.
As at this morning,investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
